Sgt Pepper from LSD Records, Salisbury

Did you know?
The Beatles preferred mono...

The Beatles preferred audio format was in fact mono (John preferred the fuller sound) and thought that stereo was something of a novelty.

The Sgt Pepper's album was engineered and mixed into stereo almost as an afterthought.

If you mute a one of the left or right sound outputs on the track 'When I'm 64', you will hear a descrete mix in each channel! (Karioke fans might find this very useful!)
